Wishing Well

 We have recently renovated a pretty 2 bedroom semi detached cottage, "Wishing Well" which is situated just down the lane from Green Farm House. We have retained many original features including pamment floors and wood panelling but also introduced lots of modern features to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

There is underfloor heating in the kitchen and radiators elsewhere powered by a heat pump. In the sitting room there is a wood burning stove with a basketful of logs, comfortable sofa and armchair, DVD and stereo. The kitchen is well equipped, hand built with a dresser, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. The main bedroom has a king-size cast iron bed and pretty victorian fireplace (not in use) and both bedrooms have delightful far reaching views over fields. There is a practical heated utility room with washing machine and cast iron clothes airer suspended from the ceiling. Ideal for those needing to dry clothes after sailing or walking!

The cottage has a large cottage garden, with sheltered patio area enjoying the sun for much of the day. There is a picnic bench and parasol. The original well is a feature in the garden but is covered by a steel grill. We are delighted to welcome children and a high chair, stair gate and travel cot can be provided. There are a selection of DVDs, games and books.

We regrettably do not accommodate dogs. Plenty of safe parking. Our change over day is Friday. Fresh milk in a jug is in the fridge a tray laid with biscuits. Fresh flowers in a vase are ready and waiting for your arrival!
